Financial Accountant

This role is to take care of Blackbird’s day-to-day Accounting duties. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in Thai accounting (AR/AP/GL) and taxation (VAT/CIT/WHT). The candidate must have an active CPD license in Thailand. 

The candidate should also possess solid MS office and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/writing) is a must. 

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated candidate that can work independently with a high degree of accuracy and good organizational/analytical skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠  Responsible for day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) management in accounting software

•⁠  Prepare and submit monthly and yearly tax reporting (incl. PND 1, 3, 53, 54, PP30, PP36), dealing with Revenue Department as/if required 

•⁠  Expense management

•⁠  Issue tax receipts (with VAT), billing notes and deal with customer/supplier accounting counterparts 

•⁠  Liaise with wholesale customers to ensure timely collections 

•⁠  Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports (P&L) for management & auditors

•⁠  Inventory system accuracy (reconcile accounting stock with operations team)

•⁠  Maintain fixed asset register incl. annual depreciation 

•⁠  Liaise with auditor for half-year corporate income tax and annual audit queries

•⁠  Ad-hoc accounting assignments by the management
