- Budget Management: Develop, implement, and monitor budget proposals, ensuring alignment with financial goals
- Accounting System Improvements: Revise and enhance accounting policies, internal controls
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, tax reports, and securities exchange filings.
- Closing of Accounts: Establish and execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including profit distribution planning.
- Fixed Asset Management: Oversee the acquisition, disposal, and depreciation of tangible and intangible fixed assets.
- Receivables and Payables Management: Supervise sales proceeds, receivables, payables, and debt management.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of tax returns, depreciation reports, and payment records.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate and participate in tax audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Age not over 45 years
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, financial management
- Good command of English and Japanese is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
