Basic Requirements

Responsibilities

Research and Development: Conduct research projects to develop new and improved modified starch products and applications.
Experimentation: Design and execute experiments to test and validate new starch formulations and applications.
Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions to guide product development and process improvements.
Product Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and optimize new starch products based on customer requirements and market demand.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of research activities, including experimental designs, results, and conclusions.Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Production, to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to modified starch applications.
Innovation: Contribute to the innovation process by identifying and exploring new research opportunities in the modified starch industry.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food applications, product development, or technical support, preferably with a focus on starches or similar ingredients.
Strong knowledge of starch chemistry, functionality, and applications. Experience with formulation development and process optimization.
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and conferences as needed.
Experience with industrial-scale starch applications.
Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards related to starch products.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
