General Purchasing and Contract Management Officer

Purchasing and Procurement:

• Oversee the non-manufacturing purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services as per organizational needs.
• Ensure that procurement processes are cost-effective, efficient, and in alignment with the company’s operational and financial goals.
• Coordinate with internal departments to identify and prioritize purchasing needs.
• Develop and maintain a list of qualified suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid supply chain disruptions.

• Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring they comply with legal and organizational requirements.
• Negotiate contract terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels, to secure favorable terms for the company.
• Ensure all contracts are documented, tracked, and updated regularly.
• Maintain a centralized contract database for easy access and retrieval of contract information.
• Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and address any issues that arise during the lifecycle of the contract.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Assess vendor performance and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure high standards are met.
• Manage disputes or issues related to procurement and contract fulfillment in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct periodic supplier reviews to evaluate their performance and negotiate contract renewals or amendments.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, General Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good command in English, both written and spoken. (TOEIC score 500+ is a plus.)
