- Oversee and coordinate supply chain activities from sourcing and procurement through production and distribution, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of goods.
- Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies, focusing on eco-friendly materials, ethical sourcing, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, building partnerships with those committed to sustainability.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics, such as cost efficiency, lead times, and inventory levels, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Manage inventory to ensure product availability while minimizing waste and spoilage, especially for perishable items in the food industry.
- Implement technology and automation to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and minimize the carbon footprint of operations.
- Work with internal teams, including logistics, procurement, and production, to ensure alignment with overall supply chain and business goals.
- Prepare and manage supply chain budgets, track expenses, and report on supply chain sustainability efforts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of sustainable supply chain practices and experience in implementing green initiatives.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards is advantageous.
