- Conduct regular quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished rubber products using specialized testing equipment and following standard testing procedures
- Monitor and document quality metrics throughout the production process, including material specifications, process parameters, and final product characteristics
- Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements while keeping detailed maintenance records
- Develop and update quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation in accordance with ISO standards and company policies
- Investigate quality-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure proper implementation of quality control measures and provide technical support for quality-related matters
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, including statistical analysis of test results, non-conformance reports, and customer complaints
- Train production personnel on quality standards, testing procedures, and proper documentation practices
- Participate in quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of rubber testing methods, quality control procedures, and relevant industry standards (ASTM, ISO)
- Proficient in using quality control tools and statistical analysis software
- Experience with quality management systems and ISO standards (ISO 9001)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent documentation and report writing abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
