- Develop ETL systems using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a data warehouse or target database.
- Design and improve workflows to enhance efficiency and support future data growth.
- Maintain and manage SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and data security.
- Create and review indexes, stored procedures and views, optimize queries.
- Monitor all job schedules within the ETL system to ensure smooth operation.
- Responsible for tracking the status of various tasks, such as SSIS package executions, scheduled tasks, and batch jobs.
- Provide alerts and manage issues that may arise in the scheduling process to ensure continuous and efficient system performance.
- Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure ETL processes are accurate and stable.
- Identify and resolve errors in the ETL process.
- Enhance existing ETL processes to be more flexible and adaptable to data changes.
- Prepare system documentation and user manuals to facilitate future system maintenance.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related filed
- At least 2-3 years of experience in designing and developing ETL systems.
- Having experience in Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS) will be an advantage.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and T-SQL.
- Having Knowledge in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Capable of managing time and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passionate about the work and committed to continuous self-development in new technologies.
- Proactive with the ability to propose continuous improvements to work processes.
