-Manage the overall transportation operations for customer accounts within the assigned area.
-Provide high-quality transportation services to meet customer needs while maintaining and strengthening business relationships.
-Lead and manage a transportation team to ensure process effectiveness, including resource management, performance monitoring, occupational health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality control.
-Develop and implement transportation business strategies, considering their direct impact on organizational objectives and overall business results.
-Make effective business decisions and provide recommendations to prevent loss of partnerships and ensure the success of the transportation operations.
-Take full responsibility for budgeting, managing P&L statements, and ensuring efficient cost management within the transportation scope.
-Plan, direct, contribute to, and coordinate transportation operations within the designated area of responsibility.
-Identify and analyze customer service and transportation-related challenges, developing and implementing solutions to improve transportation management effectiveness.
-Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
-At least 10 years of experience in Transportation Management.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership and management roles.
-Strong background in planning, budgeting, and managing 3PL operations.
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Strong negotiation skills to resolve issues and make swift decisions under pressure.
-Strategic thinking with excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English.
