Fixed Asset Section Manager
Jaspal Group of Companies- Oversee the registration, documentation, and approval of all fixed assets.
- Ensure accurate asset tagging, allocation, and reconciliation, including physical inspections and verification.
- Manage and maintain the asset register, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Provide asset-related budget analysis and support for all brands within JASPAL Group.
- Collaborate with the Business Units and Country Managers to align asset budgets with operational needs.
- Oversee fixed asset operations across multiple countries (Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia), ensuring consistent processes and reporting.
- Liaise with the Business Units and Country Managers to ensure compliance with asset policies and provide guidance on asset management strategies.
- Prepare and summarize General Ledger (GL) reports related to fixed assets.
- Reconcile all asset-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and maintain detailed fixed asset reports, including asset location and condition.
- Act as the key contact for external and internal audits, providing detailed reconciliations and reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding asset management and accounting.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and enhance fixed asset management systems for improved efficiency and user-friendliness.
- Implement process improvements to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of assets.
- Lead a team responsible for operational aspects of fixed asset management, such as asset tagging and store openings.
- Ensure all assets are properly tagged, reconciled, and reported, working closely with Internal Control teams for verification.
- Balance management and operational tasks to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire asset management process for effective adjustment and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fixed asset management, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to fixed assets.
- Experience managing teams and coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in reconciliation and asset management software.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English, with the ability to collaborate with international teams.
