Responsibilities

- Design new electrical systems and equipment or modify existing ones to improve efficiency and performance.

- Develop detailed project plans, including specifications, designs, and cost estimates.

- Conduct research to identify and apply new technologies or methodologies in electrical engineering.

- Perform complex calculations to inform design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Create and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and schematics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians.

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

- Conduct tests and analyze results to evaluate system performance and ensure safety standards are met.

- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement solutions.

- Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components

- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong project management abilities

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
