Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Trade Management Specialist to oversee and optimize the profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency of our Ro/Ro business for Inter-Asia services. This role is critical in managing financial performance, coordinating operational costs, and ensuring all service-related processes to be executed as per plan.


Responsibilities :

• Manage the Profit & Loss, ensuring profitability and cost control.

• Oversee and optimize all operational costs.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing detailed reports and recommending strategies for cost reduction and improve revenue.

• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient vessel turnaround and cost-effective service.

• Maintain relationships with sales agents, vendors, and other stakeholders to align with business goals.

• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for the trade lane.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and industry standards.

• Provide strategic input for service improvements and expansions to meet customer demands and market changes.

• Handle claims related to cargo damage, operational disruptions, or customer disputes, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.

• Coordinate with legal and insurance teams to process claims efficiently and minimize financial impact.

Location :- Surawongse, Bangkok HQ


Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business Administrative, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade management, shipping operations, or a related field.
• Good understanding of cost analysis, financial reporting, and P/L management.
• Experience in handling Ro/Ro services is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting or logistics software.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and sales.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
