Assistant Finance & Accounting Manager

- Overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL and financial reporting.
- Responsible for accurate and timely account closing, periodic management reports using actual and forecast budgets and yearly trends.
- Assisting in financial planning, budgeting , and forecasting processes.
- Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Assist to identify project financial issues for improvements an solutions that will impact working capital, project margin and EBITDA.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations . and company policy.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
- Providing guidance and training to finance staff on accounting principles and systems.
- Participating in on-going review and improvement of policies and internal controls.
- Participating in special projects and initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CPD license or CPA qualification may be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in accounting or finance senior roles, preferable in the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Good English communication skills required to work with regional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Leadership skills to supervise and support junior staff members.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
