• Provide the Technical Specification and Request for Proposal document to the Communication Systems for railway transportation systems
• Analyzing and technical assessment of design documents of overall system sub-systems and products (e.g. Radio systems, Backbone systems, CCTV, PA, PIDS, PABX), taking into account the requirements, regulations and standards.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of schedules and plans to fulfill project requirements.
• Manage the Project-specific interface, configuration and document management.
• Site inspections, Testing & Commissioning coordination
• Participate in System Integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, Test and commissioning, or railway transportation in communication system or related fields.
• Solid understanding of communication technologies and their interfaces in complete rail solutions such as TETRA radio systems, Ethernet-based (Network Design, Ethernet, WLAN and MPLS technologies), IP-based such as CCTV, PA and PABX (IP-based audio technologies, SIP), and Access control systems (MIFARE, door access control systems).
• Knowledge of engineering processes and standards associated with system design verification
• Knowledge of project management principles for project realisation and execution is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and adapt to challenging environments.
