Shipping Manager
VIKING Life-Saving Equipment (Thailand) Ltd.Beside leading the Shipping Department, developing your staff and optimising our procedures, you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required import and export licenses. Moreover, you will ensure that all our shipments are steadily handled according to Thai as well as international rules and regulations. Therefore, you must be familiar with Thai Customs and IEAT Regulations.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shipping Manager to lead and further develop our shipping department in Thailand. As part of our Global Logistics Department, the Thailand-based team is responsible for coordinating shipments worldwide, and is currently staffed by four Shipping Officers. The position is based at our production facilities in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Logistics Manager within the Global Logistics Management team.
We expect you to have 5-10 years’ experience in leading a Shipping Department and sending goods worldwide using Air, Sea and Courier services. Furthermore, you must have in-depth knowledge of shipping Dangerous Goods.
A high standard of written and spoken English and Thai is essential together with sound practical experience in Logistics and Shipping in every aspect. Knowledge of SAP in Shipping and Logistics would be a clear advantage.
