• Lead and manage multiple workplace design projects from conception to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, goals, and brand identity, presenting design concepts and proposals, and incorporating feedback to refine designs.
• Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
• Ensure prompt and timely response to all proposal requests.
• Work closely with Commercial department to maximize profit margins for the assigned projects.
• Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development and have a strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution.
• Prepares design proposal, concept images and colour selections.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals and provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and interns.
• Coordinates and executes turn-key projects when necessary.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial/workplace interior projects for at least 2 years, either consultancy or preferably design and build.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, colour and materials.
• Strong understanding of space planning, building codes, and accessibility standards.
• Integrate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies into workplace solutions stay updated on industry trends, emerging materials, and best practices.
