Responsibilities

-Create energy and sustainability plans for innovative buildings, focusing on building envelopes, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy solutions.

-Perform building simulations (energy use, lighting/daylighting, airflow) to evaluate energy efficiency strategies, life cycle costs, and occupant comfort.

-Contribute to all necessary consulting and documentation for securing green building certifications, including TREES, LEED, EDGE, and DGNB.

-Present project outcomes to clients, design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.

-Conduct site visits to oversee sustainable construction practices and ensure high construction quality.

-Assist with the documentation and communication processes for green building certification projects, working with certification bodies like GBCI, TGBI, and DGNB.

Requirements

-A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, Building Technology, or a related field.

-At least 2 years of experience in sustainable architecture or green building consulting.

-Proficiency in computer simulation tools (e.g., Designbuilder, DIALux, Ecotect, DOE-2, EnergyPlus, Rhino & Grasshopper).

-Self-motivated with a proactive work ethic.

-Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

-Strong communication and negotiation skills.

-Green building certifications (e.g., LEED-AP, TREES-A, EDGE Expert, DGNB Consultant) are an advantage.
