Product Development Officer (Fresh graduate you are welcome)

Product Development and Planning:

• Collaborate with design and development teams to translate design concepts into viable garment prototypes.
• Assist in selecting appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on design requirements and cost considerations.
• Create and manage detailed production plans, including timelines, quantities, and resource allocation.

Supplier Coordination:

• Source and establish relationships with fabric and trim suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and quality checks to maintain consistent product standards.

Production Management:

• Oversee the production process from cutting and sewing to finishing and packaging.
• Monitor and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and address any production-related challenges.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that garments meet established standards and specifications.

Costing and Pricing:

• Calculate production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to determine garment costs.
• Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to establish pricing strategies that align with market trends and company profitability goals.

Sample Management:

• Coordinate the development of pre-production and production samples, ensuring accuracy and qual
• Present samples to internal teams and clients for approval, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, pattern makers, production teams, and sales, to ensure alignment and smooth production processes.
• Communicate regularly with clients or buyers to provide updates on production progress, address queries, and manage expectations.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate reports on production progress, inventory levels, and sales performance to guide decision-making and strategy development.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Familiarity with textiles, fabrics, and garment construction techniques Is big plus
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Creative thinking and trend awareness to contribute to the development of fashionable and marketable garments.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret production and sales data.
