Production Planning Manager

Job Summary

The Production Planning Manager will oversee and manage all production planning activities to ensure that production processes meet customer demands and internal goals efficiently. This role requires strategic planning, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate with different departments to optimize production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules based on HQ order allocation, customer orders, and production capacity.
• Monitor production processes to ensure schedules are met and any deviations are corrected promptly.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to align production plans with supply chain and material availability.
• Analyze production data to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Lead a team of planners, providing direction and support to ensure production targets are met.
• Report regularly on production progress, efficiency, and any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or a related role in the garment or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and scheduling software.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Proficiency in English and Thai is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
