1. Contact customer by phone/email to finalize collection of outstanding debts.
2. Maintain professional and friendly relationships with customers while still collecting payments on time and in full.
3. Record cash, check, credit card, wire, EFT and other payment types into accounting software.
4. Prepare bank reconciliation into accounting software.
5. Establish new accounts and credit terms with customers by running credit references.
6. Respond to daily account queries and inbound calls and settle customer disputes.
7. Monitor outstanding balance against set credit limit and escalate when the limit is exceeded.
8. Prevent and resolve collections issues by establishing credit terms and limits.
9. Maintaining accurate records and notes.
10. Prepare daily bank deposits/deposit slips.
11. Prepare receipt vouchers.
12. Send monthly statements to customers.
13. Communicate with order entry and logistics staff with regards to past due clients and account holds;
14. Verify the reason of credit hold, send approve to release credit hold then release hold.
15. Reconcile customer accounts to ensure that customer’s payments are applied correctly to invoices to avoid/correct discrepancies.
16. Monitor outstanding balance against set credit limit and escalate when the limit is exceeded.
17. Prepare analysis report of monthly AR Aging.
18. Follow up WHT certificate from customers.
