- Accountable that the financial books and records are maintained in compliance with company Financial Reporting guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP.
- Prepare the local statutory financial statements and ensuring that all additional statutory reporting requirements are adhered to.
- Drive continuous optimization of organizational set-up with a focus on synergies, cooperation and output quality for accounting, controlling and reporting.
- Play a key role together with CFO for regional cost optimization.
- Enable a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees and retention of key staff.
- Oversee the local Accounting and Business controlling functions and managing the local team.
- Coordinate the monthly closing activities in close cooperation with headquarter.
- Ensure that an adequate internal control framework is in place to provide reason assurance that the financial statements are true in any material aspect.
- Manage and coordinate external and internal (financial related) audits.
- Plan, coordinate and control periodical Budget and Forecast cycles for business operations as well as business support functions.
- Effectively communicate insights, plans and dashboards to cross-functional team members and management.
- Responsible for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and internal control system in line with the Global framework.
- Male or female, 30-40 years of age
- Hands-on mentality with more than 5 years of professional experience, of which at least 2-3 years in leading a Finance or Accounting team in International organization.
- BA/BS/Master’s degree in Business or Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional accreditation
- A degree in accounting or comparable certification is preferred (e.g. CPA, FCCA, WP)
- Proven track record in people management, building and motivating strong sustainable and high-performing teams
- Proven experience in change management and transformation of organization structure and processes.
- Teamworking attitude and the ability to work in a multinational environment.
- Strong stakeholder networking ability and communications skills as well as eager and curious motivation to learn and actively seek feedback impulses from inside and outside the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and leaders; ability to translate requirements into working solutions.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (FRG, IFRS).
- Proven knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, and BI Tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView)
