Supplier Development Engineer (Electronic)

Job summary : The Supplier Development Engineer works well in cooperation closely with Quality, Assembly , Procurement department as well as colleague in Switzerland to support our supply sourcing and procurement activity’s in the Asian region on technical precision Electrical & Electronic parts. About which, you need to 

• Manage, coordinate and communicate all relevant technical subjects to suppliers.  
• 
  Ensure both suppliers & Bernina have the same understanding as well as to fulfill BERNINA quality requirements.   
• Achieve quality standards and requirements with a win-win situation and Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintain or improve Bernina's product quality. 

You will report to Procurement Department manager-Bernina Thailand.

• Bachelor or higher Degree in the field of Electricals, Electronics Engineering , preferred age 30 years up
• Min. 8 years experiences in a production plant with Electricals, Electronics process with Supplier Quality Engineering background and/or Supplier development Engineering
• Min. 3 years in Procurement engineering functions
• Good process know-how for PCB, PCBA, Semiconductor and ESD process
• Able to read and understand Schematic diagrams and Circuit diagram
• Ability to manage supplier quality performance and to provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure product/process compliance
• Experience as project leader, ability to drive projects involving defect root cause analysis and problem solving
• Leading and working in cross-functional team on a regular basis to resolve issues based on mutual understanding 
• Able to interpret Engineering drawing/specifications, metrology (GDT) and manufacturing process evaluation
• Integrity, Proactive and Be a good team player 
• Ability to communicate well both verbal and written in English and Thai , 
• Good computer skills e.g. MS office 365
• Able to travel
