Direct all Engineering Operations and all mechanical work of school. Supervises, schedules
And plans the activities of Engineering Department Personnel.
SCOPE:
Coordinates and support service by providing for the continual smooth operation of the
Physical structure and equipment that make up the school. Controls and administers the Engineering
Workshops. Ensures work programme is completed according to established schedules.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Responsible for the applications of all maintenance activities.
- Directs the engineering workforce in operation and maintenance of MEP equipment
- Controls and administers the Engineering workshops.
- Checks work programme is completed according to established schedules.
- Participates in execution of new projects to upgrade the property.
- Controls the in – house fire brigade and arranges for regular testing of the fire system.
- Maintains the water treatment programme for all systems.
Actively supports the guest room.
- Area maintenance and supervises building alterations.
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
- Inspects and surveys the hotel to determine the work required for maintenance and
Improvement under the direction of school management.
- Handles the installation, repair and maintenance of all operation equipment, such as
Electrical system, Air – condition system, sanitary system and other system.
- Interviews, selects and trains new employees to maintain the work force of the
Department, requisitions employees through the personnel according to school policy.
