We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer (Manufacturing Execution System) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of developing, implementing, and maintaining MES solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production and engineering teams.
Job Description:
As an MES IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enhance our production efficiency and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MES with other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement MES solutions to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and IT teams to gather requirements and define system specifications.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and user training.
• Work with the MES Team at Suzhou, China to bring innovations to develop the MES system for the plant in Thailand.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Maintain documentation for MES configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest MES technologies and industry trends.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in MES implementation and support in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MES software (e.g., Wonderware or similar).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, SQL).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to work at Bang Pakong (Wellgrow Industrial Estate)
