We are seeking a visionary and forward-thinking Innovation Manager to lead transformative initiatives in the tableware glass manufacturing industry. This role is central to advancing our manufacturing processes, embracing cutting-edge technologies, and driving operational excellence. The Innovation Manager will focus on optimizing workflows, enhancing sustainability efforts, and fostering a culture of innovation across the organization.
The Innovation Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, manage innovation projects, and deliver impactful results that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Process Optimization:
• Identify and implement state-of-the-art technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Drive automation and digital transformation in the production process to reduce costs and increase output.
• Analyze workflows and processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and innovation.
• Introduce and integrate advanced materials, tools, and methodologies to modernize manufacturing operations.
2. Leadership and Collaboration:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote innovation and collaboration.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives to integrate innovative solutions into the company’s operations.
• Encourage a culture of creativity and continuous learning within the organization.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to teams working on innovation-related projects.
• Develop and report on sustainability metrics to demonstrate the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Operations, or a related discipline.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-8 years in innovation, R&D, or operational leadership roles within the glass, ceramics, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in automation tools, IoT technologies, and digital transformation initiatives.
Soft Skills:
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to inspire teams and foster a culture of innovation.
• Passion for sustainability and operational excellence.
