QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
(1) Education: Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Law, Law Enforcement, International Relations, Politics, or Criminal Justice and Forensics is required.
(2) Experience: A minimum of five years working in conjunction with the U.S. or the local government in the field(s) of liaison, protective missions, criminal justice, criminal investigation, security, financial fraud, or administrative investigations, court processes with emphasis on technical, analytical, and procedural investigations is required.
(3) Language: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing English and Thai are required. Please clarify level of your THAI and ENGLISH languages skill. A copy of valid TOEIC score at least 855 is required, or pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Regional Human Resources Office. (This may be tested).
(4) Skills:
• Must have a valid, current local driver’s license is required. Incumbent must be at least 25 years old and have been holding the a driver's license for a minimum of five years is required. Please submit a driver's license with your application.
• Ability to translate precisely and accurately from Thai into English, and vice versa.
• Ability to operate computer and Microsoft Office products.
(5) Knowledge:
• Knowledge of what constitutes a crime or violation as defined in pertinent statutes and criminal penalties in the host country.
• Knowledge of different types of financial crime (counterfeit/fictitious bank notes, credit card frauds, bank frauds, advance fee frauds, and computer crimes) in order to conduct such investigations effectively.
• Knowledge of prescribed investigative and protective procedures and techniques.
