Supply Chain Manager

- Strategic Planning : Developing and implementing the overall supply chain strategy. This includes setting goals, objectives, and performance metrics to align with the organization's business objectives.
- Inventory Management : Management of inventory levels, ensuring that there is neither excess nor shortage of stock. Efficient inventory management helps in reducing carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
- Demand Forecasting : Accurate demand forecasting for planning procurement and production, work with sales and marketing teams to understand market trends and customer demand patterns.
- Logistics and Transportation : Coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to manufacturers and from manufacturers to distributors or customers is a key responsibility. This includes choosing transportation modes, optimizing routes, and managing transportation costs.
- Warehousing : Efficient operation of warehouses. This includes layout optimization, storage management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Cost Management : Controlling costs throughout the supply chain, analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-effective strategies.
- Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain, This includes developing contingency plans for potential disruptions.
- Technology and Systems : Utilizing technology and software systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems, to optimize processes and enhance visibility within the supply chain.
Specifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing supply chain/logistics/S&OP and for Food Manufacturing with at least 3 years of experience at the managerial level.
- Strong leadership, people management, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Good command of English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP
