Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment
- Plan, develop, implement, manage & monitor the overall recruitment process.
- Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media.
- Create & seek candidates from source.
- Screen & review application for shortlisting.
- Preparing employment contracts.
- Set up orientation for new teachers and staff.
- Control and monitor the probationary period.
- Preparing and update the organisation chart and job description.
2. Plan develop, implement, manage & monitor overall Promotion & Rotation process
3. Compensation & Benefit
- HRIS.
- Administer payroll programs to ensure all payroll, benefits and taxes consistent with concerning laws.
- Ensure payroll systems are set-up and updated to reflect our current employee base.
- Maintain records and filing system for payroll matters in a confidential manner.
- Keep Monitoring of the staff time attendance record.
- Handle Social Security, Provident Fund, Tax Withholding issues.
- Prepare reports relating payroll, salary and other relevant monthly and year-end reports.
- Facilitate the annual performance management process (KPI).
- Lead HR projects and other HR matters.
4. Manpower
- Plan, develop, implement, manage & monitor overall manpower process.
- Gather, analyze the data for the proper number of headcounts.
5. Plan, develop, implement, manage & monitor Budget
6. School Policy and Compliance
- Plan, develop, implement, manage & monitor overall school policy process.
- Conduct the investigation of the employee cases or conflicts.
- Proceed corrective, penalty action of HR policy.
7. Internal Communications
- Lead in developing the concept, messaging, and theme.
- Provide writing and editing support for employee communication.
- Ensure communications channels are in place and implemented, used and improved as necessary.
8. Other assignments as commanded by School’s management
SBS International School Bangkok - Human Resources Manager:
SBS International School Bangkok, the latest school in the Arthit Ourairat Institution, a group of bilingual and international schools in Thailand, will open to receive the first student cohorts in August 2025, with a view to all KS-13 year groups being filled three years after opening.
Within the school administrative team the post holder will be responsible for leading the school’s HR processes to ensure maximum operational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will have the capacity to articulate the SBS International School Bangkok ethos in a compelling manner. They will foster and develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders, particularly staff, and will line manage the work of the HR Officer within the administrative team.
The post holder will understand the current educational landscape in Bangkok and desirably have knowledge of school HR processes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships, are essential - along with the enthusiasm, energy and a genuine passion for children in education.
Monthly Salary: Up to 50,000 THB depending on qualifications and experience.
