Manager / Senior Manager – Strategy and Project Management Office (PMO)


Location: Bangkok-based in Rangsit area, hybrid model, with a minimum of 3 days in office

Level: Manager / Senior Manager

Team: Project Management Office (PMO) at Tusk Asia


Company Description:

- Tusk Asia is the holding company for Arthit Ourairat Institute (“AOI”) schools in Thailand

- Group currently operates four (4) campuses in Thailand: SBS Rangsit, BISP Phuket, SBS International Chiang Mai and SBS International Bangkok

- Established since 1996, AOI is a leading Thailand-based education group with a family of globally focused international and bilingual K-12 schools, inspired by their founder Dr. Arthit Ourairat

- The Group is seeking a high-performing PMO leader to drive critical initiatives as part of its overall transformation program. The role will be responsible for overseeing strategic, commercial, and operational projects across our four campuses, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and align with the Group’s goals


Position Description:

1.  Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and communicate the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring that all projects align with these goals

- Lead the development and management of strategic plans, ensuring that key initiatives are tracked, measured, and updated regularly

- Identify strategic opportunities, potential risks, and areas for growth, and propose actionable solutions

2.  Project Planning & Governance

- Manage and maintain a structured project management framework at a Group-level across campuses, ensuring consistency in planning, execution, and reporting

- Establish and manage PMO policies, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and accountability across all initiatives

- Ensure alignment of projects with the Group’s strategic objectives and operational goals

3.  Project Execution & Oversight

- Lead the execution of strategic, and operational projects, ranging from new school expansions, commercial excellence, operational excellence, curriculum enhancements, facility upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives

- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as academic, IT, operations, finance teams and others to ensure seamless project execution

- Monitor project risks, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with local regulations and education policies

4.  Stakeholder Communication & Change Management

- Serve as a liaison between campus leadership, faculty, and administrative teams, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration

- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership (e.g., during regular EXCO cadences), identifying key risks and mitigation strategies, inclusive of requests for leadership support

- Lead change management initiatives to support smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and policies within the Group’s network

5.  Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

- Develop and track KPIs and project success metrics to measure the impact of initiatives

- Conduct post-project evaluations, ensuring lessons learned are documented and used for future improvements

- Introduce best practices to enhance project execution and responsiveness to change


คุณสมบัติ

Experience and Qualifications:


1.  Education & Experiences
Experienced professional, with minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within education sector
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Education Management or a related field
Accreditations in Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certifications is a strong advantage
Preferable to have proven past experiences in PMO organizations driving large-scale transformations in Thailand

2.  Technical & Functional Skills
Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders
High attention to detail, coupled with the ability to see the big picture.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferable to have proven experiences with education-related projects, such as campus expansion, curriculum implementation, school technology & digitization adoption

3.  Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
Excellence stakeholder engagement and ability to work with large diversity of cross-functional teams across multiple campuses including school leadership, educators, administrative teams, finance teams and many others
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing decision-makers
Ability to navigate cross-cultural teams and work effectively across different regions
Conversational fluency in English and the local language (i.e., Thai) is essential

This role is designed for someone who can manage both high-level strategy and the details of execution. The Strategy and PMO Manager ensures that strategic projects are well-planned, well-executed, and aligned with company goals, while also optimizing the processes within the Project Management Office for efficiency
