Role Title: Corporate Event and PR SpecialistReports to: AOI CEO, SBS Group Marketing Manager, SBS Group Admissions Manager
Purpose of the role:
Corporate Event and PR Specialist to support SBS Rangsit, SBS Bangkok, and SBS Chiang Mai. This role focuses on event planning, media relations, and branding to enhance the schools’ reputation.
This is a 5-day workweek role, including weekends when required for events.
The specific duties of this position are listed below:
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Event Management:
· Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, networking events, and gala dinners, to promote the educational group and engage key stakeholders.
· Collaborate with internal teams to understand event objectives and ensure alignment with the company’s mission and vision.
· Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, speakers, travel arrangements, guest lists, and registration.
· Manage event budgets and ensure events are executed on time and within budget.
· Handle post-event follow-ups, including feedback collection and report generation for event evaluation.
· Support the admissions team with student recruitment activities for SBS Rangsit, SBS Bangkok, and SBS Chiang Mai occasionally.
Public Relations and Communications:
· Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the organization’s public image, with a focus on media outreach, press releases, and thought leadership opportunities.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers in the education and corporate sectors.
· Prepare and distribute press materials, including press releases, media kits, and feature stories.
· Coordinate and support internal communication efforts, including newsletters and internal announcements.
· Monitor media coverage and analyze the impact of PR campaigns to improve future outreach.
· Oversee the creation of engaging content for social media channels, blogs, and website to maintain an active online presence.
Stakeholder Engagement:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, educators, and industry leaders.
· Represent the organization at key public events, acting as a brand ambassador.
· Create opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations with external organizations to expand the group’s influence and reach.
Reporting & Analysis:
· Track and analyze PR and event performance, preparing regular reports to share with senior management.
· Measure the success of event and PR campaigns using appropriate metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve the desired outcomes.
