- Process Design and Improvement:
-Analyze and improve the current production processes for electrical cables to increase efficiency.
-Design and develop tools and equipment used in the production process.
-Create and update process documentation and standard operating procedures. - Equipment Maintenance:
-Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production process.
-Analyze problems and implement solutions to reduce production downtime.
-Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure continuous operation of machinery. - Quality Control:
-Inspect and control product quality to meet standards.
-Conduct testing and analysis to improve product quality.
-Work with quality control teams to address issues and reduce defects. - Data Analysis and Reporting:
-Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
-Prepare reports on production performance, including material usage, machinery performance, and production costs.
-Use statistical tools and techniques to support data-driven decision-making. - Project Management:
-Plan and manage process improvement projects from inception to completion.
-Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure project success.
-Track project progress, manage budgets, and evaluate project outcomes. - Continuous Improvement:
-Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
-Train and mentor production staff on best practices and improvement methodologies.
-Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in production engineering or in a cable manufacturing plant is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer programs for design and manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in manufacturing.
