Head of Media Sales
iCar Asia (Thailand) LimitedWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Media Sales. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the media sales team and driving key revenue streams. You will collaborate closely with the content team to ensure alignment of sales strategies and represent the organisation in key partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other clients. This role plays a critical part in achieving business objectives and ensuring long-term success.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and Manage Sales Operations: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet business objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to the media sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet revenue and performance targets.
- Collaborate with Content Team: Work closely with the content team to create sales opportunities that align with media content strategies. Ensure seamless integration between sales initiatives and content production to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Track, analyse, and report on the media sales team's performance metrics. Identify trends, challenges, and areas for growth, implementing corrective actions where necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Sales Team Development: Lead ongoing training sessions, provide feedback, and mentor the sales team to develop their skills and improve overall team performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of media sales campaigns, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of OEMs and other stakeholders. Ensure campaigns are aligned with both client expectations and company objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM clients and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring long-term business relationships and satisfaction.
- Foster Organisational Culture: Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment that reflects the organisation's core values. Ensure the team adopts a customer-centric approach in all aspects of sales and client interactions.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in media sales, with proven leadership abilities.
- Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of media sales strategies, with experience collaborating directly with content teams and external partners.
- Ability to think creatively, work within budgets, and demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
