Overview:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. The Bartender will also assist in the development of new cocktail recipes and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Drink Preparation and Service
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to recipes and standards.
- Take and process drink orders promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that all beverages are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Engage with guests to create a positive and memorable experience.
Bar Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure that all bar tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed.
Inventory and Stock Management
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report shortages to the Head Bartender or Bar Manager.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies.
Mixology and Recipe Development
- Assist in the development and creation of new cocktail recipes.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in mixology and beverage offerings.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including sales and inventory.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Head Bartender or Bar Manager.
