Compliance Officer

• Ensure operations and business transactions of the organization follow relevant legal and internal rules by developing and implementing effective and efficient compliance program consistent with auditing processes, documents, and practices.
• Subject matter expert on AML/CFT and KYC issues
• Create and oversee control system to deal with or prevent violations of legal guidelines and internal policies, evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuous improvement and revise procedures, reports etc.
• Inform and train employees on matters that are associated with regulation and industry practices.
• Enforce related policies and procedures to comply with local statutory regulations on AML and other payment related compliance issues
• Develop and maintain compliance and risk monitoring programs to ensure effective fraud, business, and compliance risk mitigation
• Liaise with merchants, banks and partners on risk and compliance subjects
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external consultants/auditors when needed
• Maintain various compliance and regulatory registers including responding to ad-hoc regulatory assessments.
• Assist in ad hoc projects when necessary
• Knowledge of policies, processes, standard, rules and interpretations guidance, controls and systems related to financial industry is advantageous. E.g. subject matter expertise in AML/CTF regulations, investigative practices in payment industry.
• Familiar with legal and regulatory requirements in relation to Payment Service Act and other related regulation on AML, Anti-Corruption, Data Protection etc.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Thai.
• Details-oriented, good interpersonal skills and able to work independently
• Strong in documentation and report writing skills including use of MS office applications.
