Electrical Design Engineer (EV Charger Station)

Job Summary :

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, G-Star CAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and experience with circuit design, power distribution, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform site survey and provide conceptual design
• Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., EIT, NEC, IEEE, IEC).
• Perform electrical load calculations and power distribution analysis.
• Select appropriate electrical components (cable, cable tray, transformers, distribution board, etc.).
• Prepare technical documentation, including load schedule, calculation sheet, specifications, reports, and user manuals.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Support manufacturing and installation teams by providing guidance on electrical system implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• [3-5] years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards (EIT, NEC, IEEE, IEC, UL, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must have at least an Associate Engineering License or higher.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in building design, factory design, renewable energy or industrial applications.
