- Responsible for all activities in the accounts Payable function.
- Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable Share Service Department.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Create financial reports relating to account payable function and status of accounts.
- Perform the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers.
- Audit methods and procedures of accounts payable function to improve efficiency.
- Correspond with vendors, banks, auditors and internal department as appropriate
- Ensure the Accounts Payable teams are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently.
- Provide day to day management of the teams - motivating and leading the team you will also lead the way in developing processes and efficiencies.
- Support section head for any other requirement as may be assigned from time to time
- Ad-hoc duties to support the business.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or related field.
- 4-5 years working experience in Accounting.
- 3-5 years experiences in managing the Accounts Payable especially within a high volume accounts payable environment.
- Accounting knowledge.
- Knowledge of computer skill, Accounting Program will be advantage.
- Knowledge of taxation (VAT, Withholding tax, corporate income tax etc.).
