Position: Key Account Manager / Key Account Executive
- In co-operation with the line manager, develop sales plans, implementing these to achieve the objectives and targets set for the Vet Channel.
- Monitor the achievement of specified accounts objectives and develop, prepare and implement plans for remedial action where necessary.
- Deliver information on Hill´s products and services through excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
- Conduct effective and professional business meetings.
- Implement sales and marketing activities for Hill´s, to ensure achievement of volume and share objectives, rapid acceptance, endorsement and distribution of new products, increased distribution on existing product lines, establishment of shelf space in line with objectives and as directed by line manager, establishment of merchandising best practice.
- Manage the assigned budget and ensure timely submission of POs to head office.
- Order recommendation and agreement with customer and collect orders.
- Monthly sales review based on customer KPIs and report back to Sales Manager.
- In co-operation with the line manager develop an optimal contact infrastructure with customers, organizations and key influencers within the Vet Channel to secure an optimal position for Hill´s and the sales of Hill´s products.
- Deliver professional sales support (seminars, meetings, merchandising) to specified customers as necessary to enable achievement by customer of agreed objectives.
- Represent Hill´s at meetings/conferences (e.g. Trade Shows, Regional Meetings, Store Open Days, ).
- Follow agreed call value (coverage, frequency, productivity).
- Plan activities to maximize visiting plans to most effectively cover current and potential Vet Channel customers designated within in the territory with the available resources.
- Keep ahead of trends in the specialist pet market and of competitive activity and report on new activity to center.
- Maintain current and accurate records in the Hill’s reporting system.
- Bachelor degree required, Veterinary medicine, Veterinary Technology degree is preferrable.
- Experience working in field sales, preferably in a FMCG company or nutrition company.
- Proficient computer skills in Ms Office, Google Suite, and ability to learn company specific programs.
- Full and valid driver´s license required / company car is provided.
