General Manager

Our client is a freight forwarding company that specializes in international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and other supply chain logistics services.

For this General Manager position;

• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to enhance market share, increase revenue, and improve overall company performance.
• Oversee and optimize all operational functions, including shipping, warehousing, customs clearance, and customer service.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 50+ employees, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact business operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior management role within the logistics industry.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success in leading and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective business plans.
• Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the ability to effectively address challenges and find solutions.
