Job Descriptions
Junior Engineer
- Assume full responsibility for setting up the assigned CNC machines.
- Prepare tooling before machine setup and carry out basic setup, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance and leadership to technicians and operators on auto-control and measurements.
- Strictly adhere to the OF plan date, ensuring completion within the time frame, and promptly report any issues to the supervisor.
- Confirm the GRF and resolve the issue within the designated time.
- Manage shift teams effectively.
- Share knowledge on equipment handling with the team.
- Suggest actions to reduce defects and make corrective adjustments to the machines.
- Monitor downtime and implement corrective measures for machines and tools.
- Conduct regular inspections of sample pieces to ensure high-quality standards.
Senior Engineer
- Install, configure, repair, troubleshoot, and modify assigned machines and necessary tools.
- Implement improvements in machining, tooling, cycle time, and other production-related areas.
- Share knowledge on equipment handling, operation, and maintenance, and provide training to new employees.
- Supervise and support the team of technicians and operators with technical issues.
- Work closely with Management and Department Heads to plan output, reduce defects, and enhance processes.
- Oversee maintenance activities, and ensure the availability of spare parts and raw materials for assigned machines.
- Ensure all operations are completed within the specified time and budget while meeting required quality standards.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Circles (AIC & COPAC).
- Ensure the order form's start date aligns with the production planning Gantt chart to avoid backlogs
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- For Junior level able to work in shift
- Able to speak in English in Intermediate Level
- Minimum 3 years' experience with CNC machine, Fanuc, Star series, Tsugami
