• Ensure the appropriate quality management of the main analytical laboratories including the implementation and maintenance of ISO 17025.
• Responsible for the accurate analysis, review of raw materials, ingredients, finished products and environmental testing (Aseptic, Liquid, Dry and Raw Materials) and approve the test results including state of conformity following decision rules prior to submission for job processing report.
• Manage the laboratory inventory, ensuring all chemicals, supplies, and equipment are stocked, maintained, and ordered when necessary. Oversee equipment calibration and ensure proper functioning.
• Provide laboratory documentation for release of finished product on a timely basis.
• Ensure results are accurately recorded, reviewed and verified.
• Perform Internal Audits of the laboratory to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Identify trends and implement corrective action as needed to reduce or eliminate deviations.
• Lead and/or support root cause analysis investigations in the lab.
• Create training documents and oversee the daily operations, ensuring all experiments, tests, and procedures are conducted according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and execute as appropriate.
• Develop, update, and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to improve operational efficiency and support scientific research.
• Prepare daily, period end, quarterly and annual reports to top management.
• Manage review of major changes of Standards and Regulations, complaints and deviations.
• Support technical clarification to customers' enquiries and maintain good relationships with existing/prospective customers.
