Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions.
- Configure Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Troubleshoot and optimize Entra ID configurations, ensuring security and compliance.
- Support hybrid identity configurations and integrations (e.g., Active Directory + Entra ID).
- Implement data governance, compliance, and data loss prevention policies with Microsoft Purview.
- Manage Microsoft Purview Information Protection and sensitive data classifications.
- Apply Zero Trust principles to identity management, ensuring least-privilege access.
- Collaborate on securing endpoints, networks, and applications based on Zero Trust architecture.
- Provide expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and related cloud security tools.
- Monitor security incidents and recommend improvements to reduce risks.
- Advise customers on best practices for Entra ID, Purview, and Zero Trust implementations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years working with Microsoft cloud security technologies.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Purview.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Security principles.
- Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and data governance policies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and other Microsoft cloud security tools.
- Knowledge of hybrid identity and on-premises directory integrations.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900). Additional relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate (SC-300, SC-400) are a plus.
