Job Summary:
The Modern Trade Sales Executive manages and expands sales within modern trade channels. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
- Manage and develop relationships with key modern trade accounts (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores).
- Negotiate terms of trade, promotional activities, and in-store visibility.
- Monitor account performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
2. Sales Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify sales opportunities and trends.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities.
3. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics.
4. Product Management:
- Ensure optimal stock levels and product availability in stores.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to manage inventory.
- Monitor product placement and in-store execution to maximize sales.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to key accounts.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
6. New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the modern trade channel.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and partners.
- Develop and present business proposals to prospective clients.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales within the food industry (will be an advantage) or any industry, focusing on modern trade channels.
• Skills:
- Strong understanding of modern trade sales and key account management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Languages: Proficiency in Thai and good command of English. (If the candidate can communicate in Chinese, it will be an advantage)
