Position Overview:
The People Engagement Officer will play a vital role in fostering a positive and engaging work environment for employees. This position will support the People Engagement initiatives, provide administrative assistance, manage employee-related expenses, assist with the Empeo HRIS system, and help source training programs for employee development. The goal is to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational culture through well-organized engagement activities and efficient HR operations.
Jobs Descriptions
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities that promote team bonding, wellness, and a positive work culture. Activities may include team-building events, wellness programs, employee recognition initiatives, and company celebrations.
• Support internal communications, such as event announcements, and employee updates to keep employees informed and motivated.
• Monitor and track employee satisfaction through surveys, feedback channels, and engagement metrics to ensure continuous improvement in engagement strategies.
• Managing the Empeo HRIS system by ensuring employee data (attendance, leave, training, performance records) is accurately entered and updated in the system.
• Provide the system support to employees and HR staff, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the Empeo system.
• Generating reports from the Empeo system for internal tracking purposes, including time attendance, leave balances, and training records.
• Processing and tracking employee reimbursement requests in Navisions (SAP).
• Research and source relevant training programs that align with the development needs of employees.
• Assist in coordinating employee training sessions, including scheduling, preparing training materials, and ensuring the smooth execution of programs.
Skills/Abilities:
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Basic knowledge of employee training.
