- Manage key account relationships with modern trade partners, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience store chains, to drive sales growth and strengthen partnerships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for modern trade channels, focusing on achieving revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Lead the planning and implementation of in-store promotions, product placements, and merchandising initiatives to maximize visibility and customer engagement.
- Negotiate trade terms, promotional agreements, and contracts with retail partners to ensure mutual benefits and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and availability at all outlets.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance with agreed trade terms, monitor execution, and identify areas for improvement.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on account management, sales techniques, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align modern trade initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in modern trade sales or account management, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets in modern trade channels.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Solid understanding of sales operations, trade marketing, and modern trade dynamics.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting sales data and developing actionable strategies.
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and manage junior team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, store visits, and promotional activities.
