Data Analyst – Production Engineering (Factory-based)

🌟 What You’ll Do

As our Data Analyst, you’ll work at the heart of factory operations. You’ll crunch the numbers, build predictive models, and create powerful visual dashboards that keep our manufacturing process running at its best. Your work will directly support process optimization, equipment reliability, and quality assurance.

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and organize production data from various sources.
• Use statistical analysis (e.g., regression, time series, hypothesis testing) to detect trends, issues, or areas for improvement.
• Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar—turning complex data into visual stories that drive action.
• Develop predictive models (using Python, R, or ML libraries) to anticipate machine failures, quality drops, and bottlenecks before they happen.
• Work with software teams to implement APIs and systems that integrate real-time data into decision-making tools.
• Recommend and support implementation of data-backed solutions to improve yield, reduce downtime, and optimize production flow.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related.
• 0–3 years of experience in data analysis (internship or co-op experience in manufacturing are welcome!).
• Hands-on with Python, R, SQL, and familiar with machine learning libraries.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Solid understanding of statistics, manufacturing metrics, and process improvement techniques.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to translate factory issues into analytical questions.
• Good communicator – able to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• English communication skills (TOEIC score a plus, but not required).

💥 Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with electronics manufacturing or working in a factory setting.
• Cleanroom experience or knowledge of quality control systems.
• Experience building and integrating APIs.
• Experience mapping business processes and turning them into usable data frameworks.
