Process Engineer - Image Sensor Business

🚀 What You'll Do

As a Process Engineer, you'll support production readiness and ensure smooth machine operations to deliver high-quality image sensor products. This role is essential to maintaining the performance, stability, and efficiency of our advanced manufacturing line.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure machines for new product types and scale existing lines to meet production targets.
• Oversee pre-production tasks, making sure everything is ready before mass production starts.
• Execute instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) from our Japan HQ with precision and without deviation.
• Evaluate expired or borderline materials to ensure they meet production quality and standards.
• Monitor daily machine performance, generate reports, and flag any abnormalities.
• Analyze root causes of production issues and apply appropriate corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related problems; escalate system or software issues to specialized teams.
• Create and update OCAP (Out-of-Control Action Plans) and operator manuals to help technicians respond quickly and accurately.

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, or related field.
• Candidates with 2–4 years of experience as a Process engineer or New Product Introduction engineer will be strongly considered.
• Sharp analytical thinking and a structured problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a highly disciplined, procedure-based work environment.
• Clear communicator – able to collaborate cross-functionally and report issues clearly.
• English communication skills (TOEIC score a plus, but not required).
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and wearing full cleanroom attire.

🏭 Work Environment

• Location: Onsite (Cleanroom work required)
• Fixed working hours with a routine-driven schedule.
• Cleanroom setting—expect to wear full-body protective gear during operations.
• Overtime may be requested occasionally when production schedules require urgent support with prior notice.
• Task-oriented role focused on precision, execution, and operational consistency.
