BROAD SCOPE:
Understand international shipping business in dry & liquid bulk cargoes and potential to develop new business account
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers, as defined in the local sales KPI’s.
- Responsible for the management and handling of the company for bulk business.
- Maintain all account and new business approaches and outcomes
- Generate and distribute specific reports as required in alignment with the position.
- Coordinate and follow and follow up selling activities within the department.
- Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service
- Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company’s short and long term results & targets.
- Represents the company and its policies to the clients which are defined as “Strategic Accounts”.
- Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company and its products and services.
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Shipping, Logistics, Dry/Liquid Chartering or a related field preferred. (Or an equivalent combination of work and education. / equivalent combination of work experience)
- At least 5 years of chartering business working in global charterer, shipping or chartering broker companies and please see the below for more information.
- Global Charterer : Bulk trading company handling oil, chemical, coal, ore and etc
- Shipping Company : Dry bulk or tanker ship company
- Chartering broker : Global broking companies handling oil, chemical, coal, ort and et
- Experience in team management
- Business Professional
- Strong English skill in speaking and writing
- Having global business mind
- Being familiar with global business manner
- Customer oriented & team player
- Able to work under pressure where needed
- Able to travel and work in other provinces
