Department: Customs Clearance
Report to: Operation Manager
Responsibilities:
- Input and update cargo release plan to shipping.
- To review, check and verify Shipping documents as provided by customers.
- Preparing Import- & Export- entry, and being as a checker for HS code.
- To verify import & Export data and documents we received to ensure that our document making are accurate and complete according to customs rules & regulations.
- Enter B/L to Freight Forwarder or carrier.
- To maintain E-Paperless system and update the system as per the Customs Department’s requirement.
- To contact customers on any issues regarding customs formalities and clearance.
- Keeping good relationship with customs officers, customers, and service providers.
- Handling, check and verify for any privilege i.e., Form A, AK, JTEPA or any.
- Advice & consult to customers how to prepare documents before submission of import license.
- Handling/Submitting/Proceeding to get an import license.
- Advise customers on service including import & export documents, insurance, and storage, as necessary.
- Sent draft import-export entry to the customer check and confirm.
- Advance D/O payment and receive D/O for customs.
- Advance import duty & Tax for e-payment systems.
- Prepare a complete document for shipping.
- Truck booking, including delivery cargos to customer doors.
- Billing import duty and Tax to the customer (Included: Entry 0409 and receipt tax)
- To perform other duties as assigned by superior.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2-3 year working experience in Import/Export.
- Knowledge of Customs Formalities/Clearance, cargo handling process and Customs Regulations.
- Good command of English and typing skill.
- Good working knowledge in computer software applications including E-Mail, Excel and Word.
- Good interpersonal, Maturity, communication and problem-solving skills.
Basis Training:
- Customs Clearance procedure, customs regulations.
- Documents relate with Import and Export Shipment.
- HS Code., Import and Export permit of each commodity.
