Reporting to: Rector of Dusit Thani College
Responsibility:
Responsibility:
• Provide efficient governance secretariat services for all Council and Committee business, including but not limited to, Dusit Thani College Council Committee, Academic Council Committee, Academic Title Management Committee, Dusit Hospitality Education Committee, Dusit Thani College Industry Advisory Board and other related.
• In consultation with the related Council Chairperson and Committee members, coordinate and schedule Council and Committee meetings
• Prepare meeting agendas, send calendar invitations, compile and distribute Council and Committee papers in a timely manner in accordance with the meetings calendar
• Attend and service meetings per predefined schedules for all above-mentioned council committees
• Record meeting attendance, verify and minute requirements and all other statutory and governance requirements
• Prepare and deliver meeting minutes in a timely manner, ensuring all decisions and business is accurately and concisely noted
• In consultation with the Council Chairperson and Committee members prepare and draft resolutions, correspondence and other documents and amendments as required
• Proactively maintain policy review and make sure the current practices are valid and in compliance with current related regulations
• Collect and verify regulations, rules, resolutions of the College Council, as well as announcements, orders, and policies of the College and keep them up to date
• Handle correspondence and documentation appropriately including that of a sensitive or confidential nature using a high degree of discretion and professionalism
• Complete administrative tasks efficiently such as filing and scanning as required
• Perform other related duties as per assigned by manager
Qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Minimum 3 - 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Highly developed communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Strong writing skills with acute attention to detail
• Professional English Proficiency
• Demonstrated ability to produce minutes, draft agendas and correspondence, all in a timely and accurate manner
• Advanced organizational, time-management, planning and administrative skills
• Highest ethical standards and personal integrity to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
