Position Overview:
The Senior Finance Specialist will be responsible for managing financial operations related to capital expenditures (CAPEX), preparing detailed financial reports, and conducting financial analysis for new plant setups and project management. This role requires strong leadership abilities to manage a finance and accounting team while reporting directly to expatriate executives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee CAPEX planning and execution for new projects.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making for new plant setups.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure financial strategies align with operational goals.
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Develop and implement credit control and receivables risk management policies across the group company.
• Engage in credit portfolio management and develop countermeasures as needed.
• Liaise with banking partners on credit control and financial products.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market trends.
• Occasional travel to Bangkok for meetings and collaboration with other teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and/or accounting in a multinational company.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proven professional experience as a Credit Controller, Treasurer, or Corporate Finance Specialist.
• Strong experience in end-to-end credit management and financial analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of banking credit control, products, and transactional banking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing a finance team.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and financial compliance.
