Job Summary:
The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources operations in Thailand, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and facilitating effective cross-cultural communication between Thai and Chinese teams. This role requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of Thai labor regulations and experience in managing diverse HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor Relations and Compliance:
- Manage labor contracts, ensuring compliance with Thai Labor Protection and Social Security Acts.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, visa processing (Non-B), social security (SSO), and tax matters (PND1/PND91).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor policy changes and conduct internal compliance reviews.
Cross-Cultural HR Management:
- Serve as a liaison between Chinese and Thai management, translating HR documents and resolving cultural differences.
- Support Chinese expatriates with relocation, visa assistance, and cross-cultural training.
Core HR Operations:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, focusing on local talent acquisition and employer branding.
- Process payroll, annual salary adjustments, and performance evaluations, ensuring accuracy with Thai salary structures.
- Develop and implement employee training programs, including applications for Thailand's Skill Development Fund.
Employee Relations and Crisis Management:
- Handle labor disputes, complaints, and arbitration, developing compliant solutions.
- Organize employee activities to foster team cohesion.
Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in Thailand, including 2 years in manufacturing or multinational companies, with knowledge of Thai labor unions.
- Strong Knowledge of Thai labor Law, and Thai Government online systems.
Preferred
- Thai HR association certifications (TDRI Certificate) or Chinese HR certifications (Intermediate Economist)
- Experience supporting Chinese investment projects in Thailand (BOI, industrial parks).
